Wrestling seeking third straight championship
The No. 6 Yellow Jackets placed fourth at the Pete Wilson tournament and beat conference foe Muskingum in the past two weeks.
They are looking to continue their strong season in upcoming matches against Heidelberg, Mount Union, and their participation in the John Summa Tournament.
The team has several wrestlers ranked in the top 10, which has helped the team establish a lead in the OAC.
Seniors Chris Doyle and Gabe Maheny and junior Anthony Arroyo have paced the Jackets to their perfect OAC season this far.
The team is looking to win a conference championship for the third straight season.
Each match has been paced by veteran jackets, as they tend to finish matches early via a pin fall or a technical fall, which boosts the team score and can be the difference in some of the close matches the Jackets have endured. The team is preparing for tournaments that are coming up at the end of February.
