Women’s golf finishes third
The Baldwin Wallace University women’s golf team participated in the John Carroll Fall Invitational on September 17 and finished in 3rd place. They then traveled to Allegheny College (Pa.) for an invitational on September 24 and finished in 6th place.
At the John Carroll Invitational, BW finished with 736 strokes on the par-73 in Hudson. Mount Union took 1st place with 675 strokes, while the runner-ups were the host, John Carroll, with 702 strokes.
Junior Anna Schatscheider finished with a total of 164 and shared the medalist honor with JCU’s Sara Beckwith.
In the invitational hosted by Allegheny, Grace Magee led the Yellow Jackets with an invitational total of 182.
The Jackets will be back in action when they next travel to West Lafayette on September 29 to kick off the Ohio Athletic Conference fall preview. A week later, they will travel to Wooster to compete in the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Memorial Invitational.
