Student Government Weekly Update: Safety and Student Organizations
On March 21, Officer Tim Washington of BW Safety and Security attended the weekly Student Senate meeting announcing that Kohler Hall and Bonds Hall have both recently been broken into.
Washington emphasized the importance of students reporting situations if they feel unsafe and gave tips on self-defense. Washington also said BW remains a safe campus, but it is important to be aware of one’s surroundings and educated on how to stay safe.
As of March 23, the Baldwin Wallace Supreme Court ruled that faculty members cannot be involved in selecting members of student organizations.
Student government class officer elections will be held on Wednesday, April 5. Voting will be conducted through students’ BW email.
