Soccer aims to extend streak
The BW men’s soccer team traveled to Allegheny College (Pa.) on September 12 for a non-conference matchup with the Gators.
The Yellow Jackets were defeated 3-2, but the following three games resulted in wins. The win streak began Saturday, September 15 on the road as the Jackets faced Pitt.-Bradford (Pa.).
The team thrived in their 4-0 victory, with junior midfielder Kurt Raney sparking the offense by scoring the first goal in the 2nd minute of the game.
On Wednesday, September 19, BW hosted Oberlin College inside George Finnie Stadium. The Yellow Jackets defeated the non-conference opponent 2-1.
On the 22, the men and women’s soccer teams both hosted Waynesburg University (Pa.) in a double header. The men won 4-1, marking their third straight win.
This week, the Yellow Jackets will face Grove City (Pa.) on the road with hopes of extending their win streak to four.
