Men’s golf looks ahead as Fall season closes
The Balot detract from the other performances during their fall schedule.
dwin Wallace University men’s golf team wrapped up the fall portion of their season with a 7th place finish at the OAC Fall Invitational, hosted by Ohio Northern in Harrod, Ohio.
However, the Jackets performance to close out the fall slate of action does nThe weekend prior to the OAC Fall Invitational, the Yellow Jackets had six players finish in the top 11 at the OAC Fall Preview, en route to their 4th win of the year. Junior Jimmy Clark paced the Jackets, finishing in 2nd place (+1), three shots back of the winner. Additionally, Freshman Roni Shin compiled his fourth consecutive top-7 finish with a score of six over.
“We won 4 out of 6 tournaments that we entered,” said head coach Wayne Schneider. “The guys played well & we are looking forward to the spring”.
This roster proved themselves capable of winning in a myriad of ways throughout the fall as they had five different leading scorers in their six tournaments. Following their fall campaign, Coach Schneider and the rest of the team have every reason to be optimistic and excited heading into the spring.
