The No. 24 Yellow Jackets are 11-4 in their last 15 games. All four losses came against tough OAC opponents in No. 25 Marietta, Muskingum, Ohio Northern, and Heidelberg.
However, they also had wins against No. 6 Marietta, Muskingum, and Heidelberg. With the exception of the Heidelberg loss, their losses have largely been due to having one poor half.
After leading by seven in the first half against Muskingum, BW was outscored by 20 points in the second half. On the flip side, the Yellow Jackets were outscored by 13 in the first half of the ONU game, but won the second half by six points.
Finally, BW took it to Marietta in the first half and were leading by four going into the second half. However, they were outscored by 17 in the second and ultimately lost the game.
Over the next two weeks, BW will round out OAC play with games at John Carroll and Mount Union, and home games against Otterbein, Capital, and Wilmington.
Having already beaten all five teams, the Yellow Jackets will look to finish the season undefeated heading into tournament play.
The Blue Streaks, conference leaders, are the only team left on the schedule that sits ahead of BW in the OAC standings.
