On Nov. 6, Berea City Council met for their regularly scheduled meeting. An ordinance that authorizes the mayor to sign an agreement between the cities of Berea and Strongsville to provide safety dispatch to Berea was reviewed. The council also considered an ordinance entering a contract with the General Health District of Cuyahoga County to provide health services for 2024-25.
The council will review an ordinance that would grant the director of public service to purchase items for the city through the State of Ohio Purchasing Program. This program is for acquiring materials that city departments may need. The council will discuss
an ordinance with the purpose of attracting and retaining employees to work for the City of Berea.
November 20th, at 7:25 p.m., the council will discuss the transfer of liquor permits for the Sportsman’s Tavern in Berea.
