Schatschneider drives women’s golf at JCU

The Baldwin Wallace Women’s golf team traveled to River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio to compete in the OAC Fall Preview Tournament over the weekend of Sept. 29 and 30.

The Yellow Jackets came home after finishing 3rd place out of 7 teams. Following the Preview Tournament, the ladies concluded their fall season on Oct. 6 and 7 at the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational in Wooster, Ohio.

The Yellow Jackets finished off strong after placing 4th out of 9 teams at the Invitational. BW finished with a total of 730 strokes on par-72.

Another mentionable Yellow Jacket highlight is junior golfer Anna Schatschneider, who was selected as the Co-OAC Athlete of the week after the JCU tournament on Sept. 16 and Sept. 17.

Women’s golf coach John Kapusta said, “We are very proud of Anna, a junior student, playing in her first golf season as a Lady Yellow Jacket.”

BW women’s golf will start their spring training season in March during their annual spring break trip.
