Men’s T&F takes second in outdoor season-opener
The Baldwin Wallace University men’s outdoor track & field team competed in their season-opener on March 16 at the Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology Early Bird at the William Welch Complex, where they finished second out of nine teams.
Some standout performances include Senior All-OAC thrower Zak Dysert, who placed first in all three events he competed in, as well as senior Spencer Mahon, who placed fourth in the 5,000-meter run in a career-best time of 15:41.09.
The following Saturday the Yellow Jackets traveled to New Concord, Ohio to compete in the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational (Muskingum) on the Johnson Family Track.
The team finished fifth out fourteen teams, scoring 60 points. Case Western Reserve University scored 100 points, winning the meet.
On Saturday, March 30 the team will travel to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the April Fools Invitational hosted by Otterbein University.
