Junior Jimmy Clark finished in third place at the Mount Union Fall Invitational.
The Baldwin Wallace University men’s golf team emerged victorious this past weekend in the Mount Union Fall Invitational, finishing first out of seven teams.
Freshman Roni Shin paced the Jackets with a remarkable score of 141 strokes (-3), the only competitor to collect a score under par for the tournament.
Shin has now compiled three consecutive top-five finishes and has finished no lower than eighth in any tournament this season. Junior Jimmy Clark finished in third place overall over the weekend, five strokes back of Shin.
On the season thus far, the Jackets have benefitted from a balanced attack. In addition to having three different players finish a tournament under par this fall, the group has seen five different players place in the top-eight of a tournament.
After posting wins at the Gatorade Collegiate Classic and the Baldwin Wallace Invitational in early September, the team has a chance to win their fourth tournament in five attempts this upcoming weekend in West Lafayette at the Poppa Flowers Invitational.
