Men look to make up ground in OAC play
The Baldwin Wallace University men’s basketball team has performed well so far in Ohio Athletic Conference play this year.
The Jackets are 7-5 in the OAC, putting them currently in 5th place.
With the remaining seven games being all conference games, it is crucial for BW to close out the year on a strong note for seeding in the playoffs. This will be a great test for the squad as four of the next seven games are against teams ahead of the Yellow Jackets in the OAC standings.
The originally scheduled game against Ohio Northern University on Jan. 30 was postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been moved to the next day at 7 p.m. at ONU Sports Center. Ohio Northern is currently last place in the OAC at 0-12 in conference on the year.
The next home game for the Yellow Jackets will be the Al Sirat Grotto Game on Saturday, Feb. 2 against Wilmington College.
The Quakers are just ahead of the Jackets in 4th place in the conference standings at 8-4. The game will begin at 3 P.M. in Ursprung Gymnasium.
